Stephen is a third generation finish carpenter with 22 years of experience building custom projects in California and Florida. In an effort to learn construction “from the ground up”, He started as a day laborer sweeping floors during the day, and reading construction books at night. He quickly progressed into framing custom homes and finally into finish carpentry and custom cabinetry, where he has spent the last 20 years specializing in custom projects. In addition to continuing to work in the field, Stephen now enjoys mentoring the next generation of finish carpenters.

In addition to master craftsman, Stephen is a Firefighter Paramedic for Hillsborough County Fire Rescue in Tampa, FL. “There is a lot of cross-over betweeen the fire service and construction”, he says. “Both require exceptional attention to detail and a smooth and focused mindset”.

Stephen enjoys surfing, paddle boarding, and trail running. When not at work or on the water you can find him in the kitchen working on new recipes. He and his wife Kimberly have been married for 21 years, and are passionate about raising their 4 teenage children to know God and love others .
